Nice thing about wearing a mask is that it limits contact between hand and face, and acts as a reminder not to touch your face.

My guess is that masks are in short supply now.

OTOH, a doctor pointed out during a TV interview that a layperson who is not accustomed to wearing a medical mask is MORE LIKELY to fidget and adjust the mask while it is being worn!
I can recall early in the days of my being in a clinical setting requiring a mask, having such a propensity to touch/adjust it; now after many hundreds of hours of mask time in medical settings, it does not get bothered much by me.

I can't help touching my face. I find myself constantly doing it now.

A plastic cone collar, like what they put on dogs, might be indicated for you! :-)

Perhaps we need a public service announcement: Do not fidget with your mask! ;-)a

Even harder to get folks to comply than maintaining a 6' distance in lines... a 6' distance is not the cause of an itch!

If you want to see the Romans use a sponge on a stick watch the Spartacus series. I laughed my head off the first time I seen it. As I recall the fellow that used it handed it to the facilities operator.

I'm obviously not going on any major trip for the next couple/few months, so I will save a fair bit of money. That extra cash is going to burn a hole in my pocket. What to spend it on?

Canon R5 and R7, assorted Canon lenses, Sony RX100, Pentax Spotmatic F

A Canon R5 and a bunch of new RF lenses. $1,000 for new set of RF TC’s. The money you save and a bank loan will cover that nicely. Canon will do well reinventing itself ;-)a

Looks as if our original run on TP has abated as both stores we visited this weekend were supplied. Paper towels still seem scarce though.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Hmmm...wonder if each person had their own sponge? Or was the sponge community shared? :-(
