In Camera Multiple Exposures - Live Music

Hey all,

Does anyone else play around with in camera multiple exposures at shows?

Here are 2 of my favorites.

The first image features Neal Casal who passed away last year. His final studio recordings with Circles Around The Sun came out today.
The second image is from a band called Dead Floyd. As you can imagine they fuse the music of the Grateful Dead with that of Pink Floyd quite seamlessly. A super talented group.

While you could surely get cleaner results with more flexibility by shooting the images and creating the multipule exposure image in post, I love the organic nature that comes with creating the image at the event in real time.

While one could argue that touching up the image in post would contradict everything I just said, I am happy to ignore that.

I like to go for these shots after I feel that I have covered most of my bases already.
