Canon 400mm f2.8 III

I'm looking to purchse a 400mm Mk3 and just chasing some info. Can't seem to find to many reviews on it.

Anyone have one or tried one that can give me some helpful advice?

What do you want to know?
A really good lens that is much lighter than previous versions.
No known issues but it's fairly recent.
(Canon has admitted the 600 f4 III has an issue with IS at slow shutter speeds and has issued a firmware update)

A lot of images have been posted on POTN by 'robamy' in multiple threads so easier to search for posts by him.

Thanks Dave. I was just wondering what others thought about it before dropping 16k on it.. I knew it was lighter but hadn't heard of any issues and don't see to much written about it.

16K? Why? You can get it for less than 11k (USD).

Russell is in Australia, so Australian dollar.
