M51, the Whirlpool galaxy. ~23 million light years away and 76,000 light years across, it is actually 2 interacting galaxies. NGC 5194 is the larger of the two and NGC 5195 is the smaller galaxy at the end of the spiral.
I’m planning on adding more data though out the month as weather allows, but I was pretty happy with the integration to this point. Photo is HaRGB and processed in PixInsight. Mono camera attached to a Canon 500mm f/4 lens.
