So, after using Canon 60D for 9 long years, I'm shifting to Sony now.
I am using 60D with
Canon 12-22mm (I use it all the time)
Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 (Rarely use it)
Canon 18-55mm (Never used it)
Canon 50mm 1.8 (I use it for Portraits)
Canon 55-250mm (Its my favorite lens)

Primarily shifting because of the better videos on SONY. ( I shoot both videos and Photos - Mostly travel related content).
Selling my camera and a few lenses to get Only A6400 with the kit lens.
Now I have seen all of the reviews and videos etc.
Just want to hear some thoughts of the people who switched from Canon to Sony.
Also suggest me some lenses to cover all the essential focal length. (Will get more lenses in future but It would be good to learn about what I need.)

Looking forward for some interesting thoughts and experiences.

I shot a Canon 6D for six years before buying the A6400 last year. Primarily moved because I am shooting more action stuff and the 6D shoots 4.5 frames a second compared to 11 fps with the Sony. There is a learning curve but I absolutely love this camera and am getting some great shots. Everybody is different and depending on what you shoot will determine the lenses you want. Here's some examples

Tamron 17-28mm

Sony 85 f/1.8

Lovely pictures - well if 6D to A6400 is considered a better upgrade , 60D to A6400 is definitely better.

It's a huge upgrade for action/moving type stuff and the AF is without a doubt a thousand times better. For portraits and landscapes the 6D still holds its own.
