Worth considering after our virus problem ends...

The National WWII Museum offers travel programs to important WWII sites around the world.
Visit sites in the Pacific and European theater. Perfect for photography, although these trips are not inexpensive.

I'm interested in the Guadalcanal visit. My dad's best friend was a U.S. Marine and flew in
a dauntless dive bomber off of Guadalcanal. He shared many stories of his WWII experience with me.
