That's my thought also.Couldn't see any differences in your photos really on my end at all either. What i see myself doing is enjoying C1 for another 29 days and keeping LR.Photography is just a hobby i really enjoy when i have time.Got plenty free time right now to catch up with everything. If i spend anymore money its going to be on the newer 100-400 II.Back to C1 i do like the interface and it is pretty straight forward after i watched a few videos on it.Everything seems to me to be in easy reach to i really like that also. And thanks for your help digital paradise :)

Yes I like C1's interface as well and it is has more options to customize. There are a lot of things I like about. Many times I have read about which one is better. Define better. They are all good. You pick the one that best suits your needs and budget.

Being rather board I'm looking for things to do. Here was thread from another site about Darktable (DT) which is pretty decent for free. I don't like the interface. The OP posted this underexposed flower and then used layers in DT to remove noise.

https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63809720 (external link)

I purchased DeNoise AI but this shows you what LR and PS can do. I'm not affiliated with this person or the site but this for $15 it a pretty decent video series about LR and PS.

https://backcountrygallery.com …se-reduction-using-lr-ps/ (external link)

Using LR I corrected exposure and then worked on the background for noise and sent the file to PS. I then worked on the flowers not worrying about background noise and sent the file PS. In PS I created layers using both files to create this. Only took a few minutes. It is a little daunting at first but gets easy and fast once you get the hang of the process. First image shows the RAW file that was available for download. My results.

The one thing I'm a little miffed about is I don't know what is going on between Canon and Adobe. For some reason Adobe has not updated Camera profiles for CR3 sensors. The only one is the R but only because they copied it from I believe from the 5D4. I even asked at this site that has members who have close contact with Adobe and they aren't telling them either.

https://www.lightroomqueen.com …ra-colour-profiles.40114/ (external link)

So with the new R5 on the horizon (which may be a bit too rich for me) and other MLIC bodies I'm staring to think I may be looking a future without my beloved Canon profiles. I have been messing around with Adobe Colour and it is pretty good. I find Canon profiles have a little more punch to them which is why like them but I guess I could add a few tweaks and update my import presets when the time comes.

I came across this video. I like this fellow because he does nice balanced reviews between Adobe and C1. I have never seen this video before.

This video I had for quite some time and it helped me with my decisions. This video predates Adobe Colour.

Here's more people talking about it over at Adobe.https://feedback.photoshop.com …mera-color-profiles.Makes (external link) you wonder what there waiting on or maybe do a big roll out of a update.Teds videos i do enjoy them and he is pretty neutral to me on C1 and LR which i like. Here is LR 1st photo just had export sharping[Forgot to turn it off}Bottom is C1 No output sharping. No adjustments on either photo from LR and C!. These were from my old T2I.On this import i love the C1 over the LR.

I prefer the LR version. It is a little crisper on my screen but like you said you left export sharpening on. C1 whites are a little more blown out but the exposure over all is higher. I really like the colours that reflected on the water from C1.

I think I read that link as well. We will see where this camera profile thing goes. There are other options. I like to have a personal website which comes with the plan and if you check pricing out it adds up.

I find LR holds it together better when you push crops which is another thing that is important to me. More important than colour. I think I said in a previous post if I portrait photographer I'd probably be using C1.

If you choose C1 you can't go wrong with it. If I ever drop Adobe I'll probably go to DXO.

I have reset my import preset back to Adobe Colour and I'm going to work with with it for a while and see if I notice anything I don't like.

Been with LR for a long time pretty much what i learned on from the early days of LR.If i could afford it i would use both. But that extra money i would rather save towards a new lens.

Me too. If I had the cash I'd own C1 as well and use it for specific purposes. I know myself. $440 CND and another $200 for the annual upgrade in the first year. I know I skip an upgrade but I know myself. :-)
