Good afternoon

I have a Canon 550d camera and have an error message which says "card write protected"

I have checked the card and there is no problem with the card. I have also tried other cards and I get the same message.

Any advise would be gratefully received

Is it an SD card. My Sandisks have a tiny slide on the side the toggles write protection. It's easy to overlook.

Hi. Yes i've made sure the card isnt write protected and have even tried different cards but get then same message

Use rocket blower or even compressed air into the slot. Good chance it's just a bit of crud in there.
