Starting this thread kinda in jest since I'd posted a Moose not really knowing where it should go.
Moose are my favorite large mammal.
So here's one to get the Moose rolling-

I had spent the full day in the background and so knew that a snow storm and vast area of open landscape was ahead of him. He seemed to be determined to be alone as I found over 30 Moose browsing about 3 miles further East in heavy cover. Though I did not get any photos of them, a pack of Wolves were just over the rise and down in a drainage area, always wondered how the winter turned out for this guy. Steve

It was near days end and running out of time, really want to look for these guys again someday. Steve

You captured these guys in an absolutely beautiful environment. That first image with the bull in the red is stunning. Hope that one is hanging on your wall.ߙ°ߙ Terry --Eating eggs and lovin em.ߘ

Grizz1 Goldmember More info | Thank you Terry, I felt really blessed on this day, for one that likes the outdoors and wildlife as I (we) do it was one to remember. There was heavy cloud cover to begin the day and I wanted to see and photograph Denali, the mountain was on my mind. We went in to mile 52, back to 18, changed buses and went back to mile 82. Rain turned to sleet, than snow and the wildlife was everywhere, their summer and fall were coming to an end on this very day. Couldn't have timed it any better. Never saw the Mountain but I'm pleased with the memories. Steve

Thats a beauty Steve love the Fall setting, there is nothing like being in their presence. You get a feeling of a close connection to nature. Dan
