No "Go to Unread" on thread

What causes a thread not to display "Go to Unread"

The thread is Natural looking HDR

I have viewed this thread a number of times thru the years.
However, today it was listed in New Posts with no Go to Unread

I'm not 100% sure until I check the code, but I recall there is a limit to number of tracked threads by some criteria (time, last access time). That does not apply to followed threads.

968. However, I do not think it is at a limit because I received "Go To Unread" messages on threads after none on the one in question. Probably a time between posts or thread activity thing.

No big deal. Not a complaint, just a FYI.

Yep, still having the problem here. But like I said above, no big deal.
I've just learned to overlook bugs in sites and applications.
They all have them, it's just the way things are nowadays.

What is different about POTN is there is less bugs here, and Pekka cares about them and strives to fix them when possible.
It is, without a doubt, one of the better jobs of coding around.

Ever been to Fine Art America?
Good Lord, bugs galore.
And some of them have been there and pointed out by many users for years.
And they still don't get fixed.

That's one of the reasons it's no biggie to me.
When I compare me experience on Fine Art America to my experience here, POTN shines like a diamond in the rough.
As such, problems are de-ehphasized and really don't matter.

Not telling you what to do, only suggesting you do what I do: overlook the small and insignificant and move on.

Hi, Bob. Thanks. Sorry if my reply seemed overly harsh. Didn't mean it to be.
I had just come off a session with Fine Art America, and was totally pissed as usual, and it just hit me hard to be reminded on how pleasant POTN can be.
Sean, the owner and programmer of FAA, could certainly take a lesson from Pekka, but that's another thread altogether, isn't it?
Again, sorry for the harshness.
