I went downtown for a different set of photos but got caught up and distracted in traffic.

More than 50,000 people gathered downtown Saturday as part of a national protest against a crackdown in immigration laws, including federal legislation aimed at criminalizing illegal immigrants and building more walls along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Excellent PJ work! Looks like there were a lot of people there. What conversion method did you use?

Thanks BB. A couple thousand were expected. About 50,000 showed up! Lots of families... kids, grandparents... really nice crowd. I wish I could have reflected that better in the shots but there really wasn't a whole lot of room to move around.

I used channel mixer... with some combination of the blue and green channels. don't remember exactly.

Second shot is very good

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus

Great job Beth. These could easily go into any newspaper for publishing.
