I got out for a couple of hours for a walk and as luck would have it this turned up and let me give my new lens a try
A9mkII FE 600f4 +1.4tc 1/6400 sec. f/5.6 840mm iso 1000 My settings could have been lower but I wanted a very fast SS to check the lens out .
Have to say very happy with it .

Rob.

Both are excellent, indeed; well done. I think the pose in the first shot is particularly appealing. Good for you.

My wife and I are intrigued by owls, and were awed by your superb pictures. Knowing how reclusive these birds are increases our appreciation of the photos.

Thanks, I feel very lucky to have found this one as they should have moved on by now, I think they were late coming so have stayed a little longer .

I manage 3 days of seeing it in good light each time i got a few shots, cloud now for a few days .

These are wonderful shots. The Sony 600 f4 seems to be extremely good, but your skill with using it is exceptional.

WOW!...the "in flight" shots are amazing, especially seeing what your EXIF postings are! Exquisite!
