Curious to know how you know it is a male? No enlarged pedipalps (palpal bulb) that most species have. It's smaller than the female and its abdomen is long and slender and almost tubular in cross section. The female's abdomen is larger and more almond shaped. This one was small enough that it could fit easily on a dime with room to spare.

Like Lester, I was wondering the same. Now I have to ask, could it be he or she is a couple of instars younger than the other female you describe? I not trying to be contrarian, but rather to learn.
