With the lockdown I was afraid I would miss the cygnets, I have never seen any before and never imaged them. Snuck out today in the morning and took my camera and found them. Yes the light was the wrong way but I wanted shots no matter what, and my wife doesn't care that they aren't great shots she loves the babies.

I think the back-lighting works well for these pictures.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Me, too! They're much more interesting than a "Properly lit" shot! ; )

Thank you very much. I played the hand I was dealt and they came out ok.

Hmmmm. . I wouldn't say that the light was the wrong way. . I would actually prefer backlight for a subject like these domestic/introduced Swans. . So, in my opinion, the direction of the light was good for this particular subject.

I'm glad you got out and got some shooting in! . I've missed your plentiful posts here on the forum.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
