Since the corona virus is on our minds, here's a somewhat related story that took place in 1978.
It is both sad and scary, as Janet Parker suffered a terrible death, and two other people died due to the incident.

These two lines stand out. There is no way you could do this today.
"purposely infected a small boy."
and then just to make sure,
"infecting the boy with smallpox"
I got to wonder, who was the poor little kid that this guy was experimenting on and how many came before him with not such good results. There is more to this story for sure.


Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Yes I mentioned that to my wife.
But they do that today so only difference is people would know there's chances of consequences not bear thinking of.
Scary stuff.
