This morning I went out to shoot the cygnets and there were about 10 of these birds zooming around catching bugs they move at like 60 mph or so it seemed and the flit around changing direction quickly, they are really tough to catch!

Anyhow I went to Merlin bird ID and this is the closest I could come as to what it is but it says it is RARE in this part of Massachusetts

the first show is a reflection as it swooped very low, to get the reflection of some clouds and trees I would have to zoom out and make the bird much smaller

Looks like it.

You may want to post on eBird (attach the photos) and if it is rare, an expert will review and comment.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

It is a Northern Rough-winged Swallow. Nice job capturing it in flight.

Not sure why Merlin is showing it as rare. I checked the eBird species map and there are recent sightings all over MA. Sightings of GReat Egret seem to be a bit sparse away from the coast, but they’re around.

Thank you, they flit around so much I was getting a headache and dizzy trying to follow it
