The first one doesn't do anything for me.
#2 is really good. A well spotted image with the coman sleeping in the bright light coming through the window. I think the angle of the camera works well here. Only one problem- you cut off her big to.
#3 is okay, but again, not much interest to me- blown out highlights too.
The last is the best of the bunch- other than being slightly over exposed, it's a real beauty. You've captured the ladies in a deep transes, with the bar framing each of them, or seperating them.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the criticism from the seniors here. You guys are really cool.

And the thick black frame from the last one is just cropped. That's how it got its weird shape.

I added a tiny gray border and then added a bigger black one through canvas size settings w. PS.
Not sure if I answered your question, ecal. hehe.:D

i love #1, it's a very fine art photography approach (which may or may not have neen intended) this is why:

the photo offers a very basic pallet, even in greyscale. the bold shapes and intersection lines keep the composition basic, however they are not perpendicular to the edge of the frame, keeping the photo interesting. I honestly do not initially focus on the girl, but on the simplicity of the pattern of the photo. it is more of a design in my eyes than a picture. i think it is best suited for black and white because of it's simplicity, and i think it would fail if put into color, so good choice. all in all nice photos, but i love #1

Wow. I'm guessing you're one of the following:
- architectural photographer
- fine arts major
- art critic

Thanks for your lovely interpretation.

St photography is all about hand-eye coordination. I think video games may have helped some. hehe. Hmm. Actually, it's more luck than anything else.
