It's getting better and better - foxes

These kits were out playing just before dusk, so I had to lower my shutter speed and use a way higher ISO than I like, so there is some grain; there is no NR applied to these pics. Gotta love fox kits....this is 2 of the 5 babies.

Ian, looking through your Flickr, you have "Foxy" in some of the photos (she has a white tail). Is she the one with the two kits, or this one? So glad the old den is active again.

Hi Frances, I'm glad the old den is active again too! This mother is definitely not Foxy, the mother of the past 2 years. This one is very skittish and has one look at me then blasts off across the field. I'm guessing that she is one of Foxy's offspring from one or two years ago, and Foxy has moved off into a new area. That has happened a few times over the past years, where the mother moves away amd leaves the old homestead to a young offspring.
