Hello everyone,

New to this forum, just wondering if anyone has any advice on connecting two T6i's to the same computer for the purposes of live streaming via Youtube? I'd like to be able to transition between the two DSLR cameras. Actually, I'm hoping to get 4 cameras working, 2 T6i's and 2 Logitech 920s.

I'm using Streamlabs OBS to handle the live stream. I have one Canon T6i connected via EOS Utility and showing up on the Windows 10 PC screen. I have two other web cams also connected and Streamlabs configured to do a 300ms wipe transition between the input sources.

Any idea how to get a second T6i showing up on the computer screen?

Is there another program aside from EOS Utility that can put the image of the second camera on the comp?

THANKS!

edit: BTW my work place has asked me to live stream an important event. I'm using 9 mics, a mixer, Canon T6i as a web cam, two other web cams, a Powerpoint presentation, Streamlabs OBS s/w, Youtube Live platform and hopefully a SECOND wireless T6i. All of this set up on an i7 16GB Win10 PC with a 1050 Nviia accelerator card. I've got it mostly figured out, except getting the second T6i working. Let me know if you need help I'd love to share.

You might look into the Canon webcm beta that was just released. The T6i is compatible; see https://www.usa.canon.com …enter/eos-webcam-utility/ (external link).

Thanks for the tip and the link. I have an hour to check it out, will do that now.

I'm curious about the answer.

I've attached my camera to the computer by using "Camera Live" and "CamTwist" to connect the camera and into OBS which combines multiple sources and manages the layouts. The point is that I've never seen anything that hints I could do more than one eternal "proper" camera. I can configure any number of webcams, but only one camera.

Mostly using Canon bodies with lots of different lenses and flash.
