Absolute must have for crop sensor lenses. It comes out to a stabilised 56mm full frame equivalent in a tiny form factor. The macro capability is likely dismissed due to the short focal length, not providing much working distance for macro work. Instead, I saw this as a qualifier: the lens is quite capable of incredibly close focus and resolving detail. This on top of being a very useful, general purpose focal length made it the best prime lens I've ever had and always stayed on my T6i. I still contemplate picking up another APSC camera, just to use this lens again. I never found any flaws with the lens aside from vignetting wide open (easily correctable in post). Throw this lens with a 24mm f/2.8 and 50mm, and you've got yourself a fantastic trio of primes that can fit in a small sling.
