That's a different temple. Do they answer prayer call in the rain?

It is an art installation called "Paradise Has Many Gates" It is part of the Vancouver Biennale 2018-2020.
I think they do have services there sometimes as well as some social types of events.

Thunder Storms, torrential rain, large hail and damaging winds was the forecast for my area this afternoon.

Thunderstorm over my corral behind my house, wasn't too bad though lightning made me take cover and stop working.

Thunderstorm number 2 fifteen minutes behind the first storm coming from the Southwest was not good, it packed everything that was promised and came to the front door.

As the 2nd thunderstorm approached the bow became two and was arched much more, torrential rain they promised was right behind it, 1/10 inch rain per minute. Two more storms for a total of 4 have passed through this afternoon.

And it looks like they got it right. Those are dramatic photos! Did you get hail?

OhLook, I did not see any hail at my house, I have seen photos and video on FB of friends and family that did get a lot of hail. Most of it was marble size, the quarter size and larger fell West of my place about 10 miles.
Thunder storm number 5 just passed 30 minutes ago so we are in a "training" pattern of storms, flooding is almost certain. I can hear water roaring outside now if I open the door.

Crazy weather, hail and T storms are bad enough without the flooding. Hope if it does flood it will be very minimal.

Looks like your low pressure system is blocking our high from moving east and so we're having a heat wave for the next 4-5 days. We will be 20+ degrees over our normal 77 degree average for this time of year.

Yikes.. Those look like potential tornadoes. Very dramatic images, Steve.
Yes, your low pressure is blocking our high pressure from moving East.. Like Tim, our temps are above normal and very close to summer highs.
