My wife has a Canon AE-1 (original owner) and the re-wind knob is lost. This sits on top of the camera that you pull up and it opens up the back. Anyone know where I can get this repaired? Great camera...... thanks, jim

Your probably better off going to a site like KEH.com and picking up a used one. They have a couple of them ranging from $64 for an ugly one to $177 fir a excellent one. Probably find quite a few on local boards as well.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I agree. Unless it has major sentimental value you can replace it cheaper than fixing it or sourcing parts,. You might even upgrade to an F1 or A1 for much more

Thanks, I found a used one.....will use that to replace the one part that is missing. It is either that or one can't use it, so might as well get a parts camera ...! appreciate it, jim
