A few more pretty moths from my trap the other night. All taken on a Canon 7D and Sigma 70mm macro
Not certain on the ID of some as yet:


Swallow Prominent (Pheosia tremula)

Nice series. I had never thought of making a moth trap to capture them for photography. Going to have to research that

Alann - there are a whole range of traps out there for moths. Some are designed purely to lure moths to an area for observation; whilst others aim to capture them for later study. The former mean that you have to be out at night working with them; the latter lets you go to bed and wake up early to see the results.
