#2 is best, but seems too dark. #3 is either cropped too much or poorly composed - her eyes are near the edge of the frame. She also doesn't look like she wants to be kissed.

#4 has the best lighting/levels.

I feel that all of your shots are a little too tightly cropped, except #1.
In #1, the eye wants to wander around and see where all the hands are at. I'm not sure where would crop that one.

In #2, I like his smile much better than the sober look in #1.

#3 is excellent, but I would like to see a little more of her in that shot.

#4 is priceless. I think her fiance' is one lucky fella, and you did a great portrait. Exposure, lighting, color balance, pose.... It all clicked into place on that one.
If you print that one slightly darker (reducing the saturation a little at the same time), you will see that it gives her face greater depth.

You can not go wrong with critique from Rob.......tight shots are nice but not too tight. I like the last. #1 is quite good but need to compose more.....ie: Get them to do something with hands. Tis just a small thing.

The reason for this is the heads are not at the proper height relative to one another, so when one attempts to crop one ends up with a crop at a jpoint or cropping off important parts of their bodies which are the foundation of the image. Raising the young lady up to where her eyes are level with his mouth will allow for a crop that is more pleasing.

Thanks - I have several shots of the pair of them and I was not happy with the composition. Just looked at them again and it is now obvious why - she is too low.

Will try the eye - mouth line next.

They are really nice pictures of the two of you but it would be nice to see more color in the background. Try messing with some color schemes in your editing program.

1 and 2, the man's forehead is too shiney, his eyes look like he is forcing it to open wide (too much tension). The woman's eyes seem OOF (it might be the size of the pics here).
3+4 are quite good, more natural and relaxed feeling.
