while taking a walk with my dog Chocolate along a bush track i managed to get some pics of a Blue-winged kookaburra

Different to the others here.
I looked it up on eBird
They certainly have a different call.

Yep, it's the call of the north. 21 minutes before sunrise and 21 minutes after sunset. And at other times. For local mob it can herald bad news.
