Somehow the ISO button on my 1D Mk IV came off my camera this morning while flying 2000' over Shelbyville, Indiana and it fell to a painful death. I've dug around on the net but can't find a source for parts; anyone know where I can get a replacement? I doubt if I'm going to find it in town. Here's the area I have to search, LOL!

Unless you can find someone dismantling one for parts, you'll probably have to get the whole top plate assembly = part number CG2-2719-000

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I would Google to locate an independent repair shop who does Canon dSLR.

Some years ago my 5D (classic) stopped working mid-shoot, and I found an independent in the Midwest who found a replacement Main Circuit for the 5D although Canon no longer officially supported the 5D. Fixed it just fine.

Not certain it was this place (I also had a different place work on my OM-1n), but it might be Garry's Camera Repair

I found the invoice for my 5D repair...not Garry's (they did Olympus repair) but Royal Camera.

.
I can't help but to be curious about a couple of things concerning your predicament:

What ISO is your 1D4 currently stuck at? . If my 1D4 were stuck at 1000 or 1600, I could live with that indefinitely.

Also, are you able to somehow change the ISO by using the menu? . If so, you may be able to get away without ever having to replace the lost button. . A lot of things are "nice to have", but not really necessary.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

It was stuck at 800 for the flight just because I didn't want to dig through the custom functions in flight to figure out the other way to change the ISO. I did find an alternative way to configure the camera to change the ISO using the thumb wheel on the back. One of the big reasons I want another button is so that the body is weather sealed. There is now just a weather-sealing rubber grommet where the button used to be and there is a hole that would allow moisture to get in to the camera.
