begining of cherry blossoms at night.

Well I guess the advice im looking for is more about night shots then about my pic here. for this pic here, I went ISO 1600 20" F14 would that be about right? I also had ALLOT of trouble focusing, I found in my situation, theonly way to focus was manually, which that was even difficult due to low light, so nothing was tack on. so any advice would be nice, thanks.

This is an interesting shot, but I'm not really sure what to look at first. The red sign is begging for attention at the bottom, and could probably be cropped off. You have an interesting subect, and it wouldn't hurt to get closer to it. Have any more?

I agree with getting-started. What's distracting to me though is the lights behind the red sign. As far as night shots, one way to help focus is bring a flashlight so the camera can see what you're trying to focus on, then it's up to you to get the settings right. I'm sure you'll get some more great advice on this. It's been awhile I've shot in the dark.

well I got quite a few more pics from last night of this same scene which dont show the redsign, but the other just seem to busy...the cherry blossoms arnt full out yet therefor kind aborring right now.

"beckybun" thanks for the advice on bringing a flash light, I tryed to use the flash (strictly for the autofocus "beam") but that didnt work at all!
