I've been trying to work on more people this year, so set up some lights, used myself as the subject, and here’s what I got. Was playing with pink and blue gels, just to test some alternative lighting. Feel free to C&C.

Nice and crisp. Never been a fan of gels mostly, first image captures the product quite well.

There is no right or wrong answer, it depends on the look you want. I'm not a fan of the exaggerated rim light, especially when you gel it as detracts from the subject. But there are applications where it can work.

Shot 1 eh, shot 2, I like the lighting and the intensity of the eye's, shot 3, very nice, the red and blue lighting makes a nice contrast and works well with the darker skin and well sculpted body.

Sort of like very cool and very hot at the same time.

Do what you love and you will love what you do, that applies to both work and life.
