HFOV for G6 and G3

Has anyone established accurate HFOV angles For a G6 and or a G3?
Perhaps covering various focal lengths.

The figures used as fall backs In PT and PTLens are only approximate.
It would be handy to publish better ones for our G series cameras, as they would be true for all cameras of the same type.
The G3 and G5 would be the same as each other; the G6 may differ slightly if there is a slight difference in the sensor size? Though I think the G1 and G2 would certainly be on their own.

It would be useful even if people got slightly differing results, as they could all be plotted to arrive at better average figures

Hi Terry

It am interested on the findings of this thread as I was with your info about nodal points in other thread. You did a very precise work there.

I said somewhere else that I am not expert in optics at all, but I like to go the deepest I can in criteria related to my camera (Pro1).

As it is the first time I see HFOV better to ask soon:
Does it mean Horizontal Field Of View? The first link in a Google search for HFOV points to High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation :) :)

You know English is not my mother language and sometimes the common used terms are not clear for me. We were talking about angles in the pro-1 field of view? thread a month ago, that is the reason I dare to guess the meaning of the term.

Would you like to follow the link?. The threads are somewhat related and some things from there may apply here.

I am sure you may even solve some discrepancies arose there.

Sorry, I can not help with G6 or G5 angles directly.

Yes you are quite right it is horizontal field of view, as used in panoramas.
