The 5 red fox kits so look forward to the time when Mom comes home, usually with a tasty treat. She has in the past been elusive, but this evening she was willing to play and pose with her babies.

5 would take some feeding once they get that side.
She looks a bit lean which I expect is to be expected as it would be a lot of work running after that lot.
Beautifully photographed

Thanks Richard, yes she is pretty scrawny. She'll fatten up for winter after the babies have left home.

Great to see you posting here, Ian.

Wonderful work with the foxes. . What a stellar opportunity they are giving you!

I especially appreciate the blurred backgrounds in some of the images; the degree to which the background vegetation is blurred really helps to isolate the subjects nicely.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Hi Tom, many thanks for commenting. I’ve been more selective in what I’ve been posting. Using the 500 with 2X extender helps with the blurred background. I was a fair distance away in my truck.

Thanks Dan. I try to get my pics there in the evening, the light there is from the right direction and unobstructed.
