I searched around POTN a bit and it looks like the last EXIF editor threads are quite old and I got to figure that there have been improvements. I'm looking for a EXIF editor that can edit tags. I use to have one a while back but can't remember what it was as I have switched over to using Windows Explorer. Explorer does well enough but can't really batch edit and cant change GPS data.

I'm wondering what y'all are using these days and your thoughts. Searched around the web and there are quite a few. Other than loading each and trying it, there is no real way to assess performance. So, got a favorite? Must to tags, date and GPS at the very minimum.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Lightroom. I just drag the image to the closest time on the GPS track, allowing for time zone differences and/or Daylight Savings Time.

Not sure if Lightroom will do. I need something that makes permanent changes to the files to raw, tif, and jpeg that can be shared across people and platforms many of which do not have Lightroom.
