Sorry to cause you to expend that effort.

I found the problem and it's fixed. The cover was consealing the switch. I totally love my R5 now.

There are plenty of items sold that are made out of Shadow Grass neoprene, but I don't see the raw neoprene sold. You could buy some waders off eBay and probably make ten lenscoats out of them, though!

Denver Museum of Art. ISO 4000 with RF 24-105L

Cleaned up pretty well with just LR NR, no Topaz. Was a bit underexposed too which added noise.

I shoot events as high as 6400 and have nothing to clean up in half dark half stage lights each week. Been very happy with the low light performance.

Even if the R5 did lose them, the R5 allows you to save them to a card at any time to be reloaded later.

I haven't had settings disappear in a very long time. Can't recall the last time.

I was up on the north shore of Lake Superior over Labor Day weekend and got super lucky that the northern light came out both Saturday and Sunday. I have never seen them let alone get to photograph them. I shoot almost nothing but wildlife so I do not own a good landscape / astro lens. I used my old sigma 17-50 2.8 crop lens to take pics. So now I am thinking I need to get a better lens. This lens won't see enough use to spend 2000 plus on a lens. I was looking at the Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 and the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.84 DG HSM ART. These seem like I could get a little more use out of than just astro stuff. What are you guys using on your R5's for night stuff?

Thank you. I think I may hooked on the northern lights after seeing them for the first time. I hope I get more chances down the road.

That is a fantastic photo that belongs in a frame on a wall or on aluminum on a wall.....

I used a borrowed Tamron 15-30 a couple of years ago and liked it. The owner who is a professional guide and photographer, is very fond of it.

Thank you I think I am going to print it it off. I have a perfect place to hang it. Thanks for the info on the lens.
