thanks.
But for landscapes on f8 it can't have any downsides?
I like to make exp.bracketing handheld, for making HDR sometimes, good to have some backup exposures... Is EFCS can be destructive for images in this situation ? I guess, no.

F/8 should not be a problem.

Another question - is it safe to charge batteries IN BODY via usb-c cable ?
Don't want to use charger for saving free space on my desk...

It does NOT charge while you're shooting - only while off.

yeah, and it's big disadvantage for me, especially during nightscapes/timelapses and video

My eos R ate battery much slower than R5... I understand - ibis, viewfinder etc.. but they should think about easy way to charge in the field

Question about video:
Why I can't turn on 4K 120p ? in my menu i can select 100p only. Also I have no 59.94p, but 50p.
It seems like I didn't change some global settings for video for unlocking 120p...

Firmware: 1.8.1 fresh one.

If you are in crop mode it will not go to 120 fps.
Also, you have to enable high frame rate.
And I think you have to be in video mode when looking for these settings, not in photo mode.
Hope this helps.
PS: I "think" some countries don't use the 59.94p, they use 50 fps. You may be in that area of the world. have you ever gone to 120 fps or is this your first try?

Oh yes! You're right, I set up for PAL but if I re-set to NTFS - 120p appeared. Thanks.

But why I should to choose PAL or NTFS if this is digital movie and will going on YouTube, not for TV ? Is this really make a difference ?

I just picked up an R6 Mark II because I've been frustrated by my R5 for a year now. It's technically a good camera, although I've missed so many photos by its unreliable performance and coming from the 5D4 I've never been more annoyed by a camera than it. Only 3 days into the R62 and the AF and overall keeper rate is much better. I was told that the high pixel density of the R5 is actually the reason for a lot of blurry photos and unsuccessful panning/low shutter speed images. I do enjoy the LCD of the R5 for landscape photos, but I may seriously sell this camera...

Is there present an option that camera in AF SERVO didn't shoot if AF can't be lock on target ? Now even with a cap on lens I can make a shot...that's annoying.
Single AF preserve from this action, but not in Servo.

Not that I'm aware of. And if the camera is on it drains the batteries constantly hunting with the cap on.

AF Tab 4

Lens drive when AF impossible
You can specify lens operation that applies when autofocusing on a subject is not possible.

[ON] Continue focus search

If focus cannot be achieved with autofocus, the lens is driven to search for the precise focus.

[OFF] Stop focus search

If autofocus starts and the focus is far off or if focus cannot be achieved, the lens drive will not be performed. This prevents the lens from becoming grossly out of focus due to the focus search drive.
