some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

what a find
Thanks for posting.
I commented recently on the fact we just don't find old planes sitting in sheds like we do old cars. Shows they are there.

very cool eh? the line "see the restored Mosquito" might just be media hype, but given there are excellent restorers at Avspecs (Ardmore in Auckland) who have created 3x airworthy mossies from next to nothing, I wouldn't be surprised if moves were afoot to do a complete make-over. Wouldn't be cheap mind! Wonder what a trip to Omaka would set me back these days...

that old bloke interviewed - 95 and still repairing and strutting round so easily and fully aware of his boozing, smoking past.
I loved that. - 'kids today don't need to know anything - just ask Google"

Quick snap with the 100-400mm the other day (well a pano of 4 shots actually) - Mosquito is being restored to "display condition" apparently...

Since the time I posted this, the folks at Omaka have been really busy with the restoration, apparently she'll never fly again for a number o9f reasons - the fuselage was cut when demobbed & has been "stitched" together, and because the aircraft is in otherwise entirely original condition.

Still, they have run up both engines off the aircraft and more recently done some engine runs complete on the airframe.
