Sometimes I think it would be nice if we could move the Heads Up! to be able to read what is underneath when there are multiple items in the Heads Up!

Thank you Pekka for at least considering this! ;-)a

For how long does the Heads Up! block the page?

Scroll, and see how many gave you a like. Then click on Thanks.
Over in a few seconds. I think you're nitpicking.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

Sorry, Frank, I agree with Charles. I want to know which post a Like was for. If a Heads Up! includes Likes for four different photos or comments, I may use the links to go to all four pages. If I can identify the post from memory, I don't need to go there. Sometimes I can't identify it, as when Likes come in for old posts in a thread I've posted in repeatedly, such as Flower Shots.

I think the Heads Up is just a quick message of who liked your post.
Not intended to be on the screen very long.

You can click on your home icon and see a list of who liked your posts,
and which posts you liked.

How long it remains depends on what its recipient does. Anyway, Heads Up!s aren't only for Likes. They're also used for messages that you might want or need to follow up on.

You can click on your home icon and see a list of who liked your posts,
and which posts you liked.

Yes, I know. I still prefer to check Likes while they're fresh.

One nice thing about POTN is its flexibility. Users can use its various features in ways that suit them.

Charles you get my vote of support. :-)
I imagine there's a perfectly good reason for it being how it is.

Edit. Thanks Levina. That's excellent. Sorry Charles. Let sleeping dogs lie. Support withdrawn :p
