John, We rarely have more than one bird at a feeder. I believe that we have three birds feeding at four feeders. Ours don't freeze up often but when I see one is I change it out. I don't understand how those tiny bodies make it through a freezing night when their heartbeats go way down.

I am always amazed how they do that as well. Also there time clock to get up and eat at 15-20 before sunrise is uncanny as well.

Nice shot. It is nice to be able to step out the front door and get these isn't it? We have 3 of the exact same feeders and the birds love them. We ended up giving away the fancy blown glass style as the birds did not like them and they always leaked in the heat.

No, the hummer is not looking at himself in a mirror :-) One of the rare instances when our local hummingbirds were willing to share, at least for a few seconds.
