"it simply isn't there, and doesn't come up when I click on a page number"
Only works if you click on the green number, not on a page number.
(just found out, didn't know it was possible)

True, but this limitation wouldn't apply in ordinary use. In a one-page thread no one would need to go to another page. pcs wrote in post #19099507 "it simply isn't there, and doesn't come up when I click on a page number" Only works if you click on the green number, not on a page number. In an earlier post, Tom did say nothing happens when he clicks on the green one. It's a mystery. Pekka has been careful about designing the software to fit all browsers. Pekka has been careful about designing the software to fit all browsers. I was going to reply(no time earlier): Should have read the earlier posts more carefully, sorry. But I don't think it's necessary now. Tom Reichner wrote in post #19099602 . Thank you - that worked! Of course I never saw it before ..... the green number is the page that one is currently on. . If I am already on a page, then why would I ever click that same page, to go to the page I'm already on? . I would never click on the page I'm already on, because I am already there! . LOL So of course I never saw it before. . It seems a bit unusual that you would only be given the "jump to" option after clicking on something that you would never think of clicking on. . That seems counter-intuitive . But thank you for pointing it out ..... now that I know about it, I will use it. .

I sometimes wonder what other hidden gems are in this software we do not know is there. Charles

Well another one I didn't know about till someone pointed it out was clicking in the margin to get back to the top of a page. Saves so much scrolling! Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I think that that feature is so useful and so intuitive that I find myself doing it on all the other websites I use, too. . Of course it doesn't work there, which kinda sucks.. Me too! Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
