Just been outside here with my Celestron NexStar 4SE trying to get planetary shots.
Each time I get the scope out it seems like an exercise in frustration, has been over two years since its last outing.
Unfortunately I live in an area with quite a bit of light pollution so things are challenging from the get go, add alignment issues, shaking, the awkward games of twister you have play to align the scope, the fact that my camera doesn't fit quite right messing with the scopes range of motion (can't look straight up, or about 15 degrees of straight up).
I actually get better shots off my EF70-200f/2.8 + 2x.
Maybe I just don't have the patience for this stuff, maybe I expect too much from my gear.
Thinking it might be time for the scope to contribute to my R6 fund.
