Can I film with my camera from one location so someone else can live view it from another?

Hi guys random question time.

Im getting married on the 28th of August but will have reduced numbers due to Covid-19, and also my mother who is shielding and currently on Chemotherapy who cannot make it unfortunately.
What I want to ask is, is there any way I can use my camera and set up something so I can basically live view the wedding to my mum and dad (dad will be staying home too to look after mum)

My venue is a ferry trip and 100 miles away from my home so would really like for them to see it live, I know I can FaceTime them if I can't figure out a solution so its not a massive deal. But I would love for them to be able to see it live and it would certainly make them feel better.

I currently have a 1DX Mark II and 6D cameras, I can use my MacBook Pro and have all sorts of ethernet cables to connect the cameras to the computer, my parents have iPads they could use to view on.

Any Ideas would be great that I can set up and test before we go away at the end of the month.

Thanks.

Derek

There is a way but why? Facetime, Skype, Zoom are so easy to use and set up that I would think on such an important day, easy of use and reliability would trump all other considerations. The quality of a smartphone or tablet is so high these days that for an application like this, you are not really gaining anything by using a SLR. But if you really want to use the SLR, search for Canons web cam software (external link) or use something like a Pengo (external link).

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

It's possible but you still need either a pc or smartphone to complete the setup. Check out this (external link) video.

Just install the Canon Webcam Beta (external link) to make the 1DXII a webcam, then connect her using Skype, Webex, or any other web conferencing software. It does really good for resolution and has worked well for many larger conference groups I've set up. Change the camera's battery out for an AC adapter, though.
