robamy Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 13, 2020 04:47 | #214 Last night while shooting bluebirds I had a few high up barn swallows so I tried the crop mode with the small fliers. It did really well. I will say this has been the best camera for locking onto swallows. I have not had good opps yet, they have all been fairly high but if I can do my job tracking them, then the camera does it's job well. It also shows how good the R5 is .... No, you are not the only person. I shoot 90% stills and maybe 10% video. The things I want the R5 for is the auto focus, the 45MP, and the auto focus stacking feature for macro. I doubt that I would ever use the 8K, and the 4K120 only rarely. My first real camera was a Canon F1. That was a long time ago.
