Yes we did get a second one. Amy likes the 400mm and uses it all the time now so we decided to each have one. Her main lens was the 400mm DO II. After using my 400mm on a few outings she really like the balance and performance over the DO II. It is my favorite and most use lens so I will most likely be selling the 600mm in a bit. The R5 push us in this direction. Now with the 45MP camera I really do not need the reach of the 600mm with the 2x and I prefer the 400mm over the 600mm in the 800mm range due to the shorter size and MFD.

I agree. The Mkiii teles rock with the mkiii TCs. I was getting sharp handheld shots with the 400+2X TC on 1dxii. I can imagine the pleasure you must be feeling in shooting with IBIS enabled body.

I got me some littlebirds yesterday, they came close enough for me to shoot them with the 135/2.

Anyone has any experience with Delkin cards? Thinking about getting one but I have never used beans other than Sandisk, Lexar and Sony when it came to SD, CF, XQD and CFast cards.

Been using Delkin many years 0 issues, haven't tried the new Cfpress yet, waiting for camera but it will be Delkin

Sorry no. I had a Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 (1st generation) that won't work on the R5 without an upgrade of its firmware so I bought the RF one. Surprisingly light - about the same weight and feel like my EF24-105 F/4 with adapter.
Took only about two dozen shots with the new one yesterday but it focuses very fast and is very sharp. So far so good.

Just a variety of images to kick the tires on the R5 over the past few weeks. C&C welcome.

Is this the 70-200 IS I? I have the I version as well and have been debating upgrading to II. Have you noticed anything weird with the glass being that old?
