Very impressed with the Image Stabilisation! (both in body and lens working together). Took this shot with 1/8" hand held - cannot see any motion blur. :) Lens is the RF70-200mm F/2.8 L IS USM - not yet available in the gear list on this forum.

Its still serving me well after all these years. Seems to work just fine with the R5 to boot. I will transition to RF glass at some point, but I've been really pleased with EF performance.

This is one of the highest I have done, this is strait out of the camera. Can be viewed larger on Flickr. I think it does really good for what I have done so far. I usually never try to go over 6400 ISO for wildlife.

Sitting out by the pool with the kids. Initially went out to shoot this afternoon, got to the location and realized I left my memory cards at home.

Rob, have you tried your 100-400ii with the 2x? If so, how does it compare to the R?

This R5 camera I bought before 7 days and I'm very grateful! My camera makes amazing photos! I recommend other people to buy the same!

I have not, I will make a point to try it for you. I prefer the DO II setup for a smaller lens at 800mm over the 100-400mm II

Thanks Rob. Unfortunately the DO ii is out of my price range, it would never get passed my wife and it's too obvious to hide lol. I did get permission to get the R5 though so there's always hope I suppose!

Hehe, it's funny how a grown adult man (i assume) has to get permission from his wife when he is about to buy something from his own money. It says something about who rules in the house. :D
