Female Duke of Burgundy (Hamearis lucina). The background is busier than I'd like, but I'm impressed with the detail captured on a butterfly that's about 32mm across. Taken with the Canon 180mm f3.5L macro @ 1/200s, f9.0, ISO400.

Mating pair of Pearl-bordered Fritillaries (Boloria euphrosyne). 1/200, f11, ISO800. Off-camera fill flash used to lighten the shadows a little.

I finally got some real actual wildlife in front of my lens, and it was on my way home from the tram while passing by the nearby hospital. Just outside it sat this big juicy rabbit and chewed on some fresh grass. :)

Moon from Brisbane 21st May 2021. I used two Canon Extenders x2 stacked. The Version III and the Version II to give a focal length of 1200mm at F16.

Mounted on tripod, using Electronic Shutter I took 60 frames and then used Autostakkert3 SW to Align and Stack the best 30 Frames.

Cheers

Dennis

Does anyone on this thread shoot with Tamron 70-200 G2? Do you get full frame AF coverage or does it go to 80% coverage like with some sigma lenses?

Desire to learn; a camera & a few other things.

I have that lens and I've used it a few times on my R5, there's no decrease in AF coverage area. It works well but I'm looking at replacing it with one of the RF 70-200 lenses, not sure which one yet though
