All these stills captured. Its a nightmare to go through in post and deal with It is called testing. I wanted to see how the AF locked on. I would never keep that many dragonfly images. At the same time I have managed some cool poses by taking large burst. I do not do this with my yard birds. However rare sightings you bet, I will blast lots of images. I do this for fun, not timelines etc. So I do not mind going thru and looking to see what poses, angles etc. I personally was impressed it stayed on the dragonfly like that but it seems like that is a no go for you. Any camera can grab at least 1 or 2 pictures. Yes I did you the ES 20fps flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/robamyphotos/

Pleased with the results as the AF subject detection "people" works beautifully when trying it on surfers. There are more shots in the album linked to the shot below. I took about 90 shots on High speed shooting + (mechanical shutter) and only 2 or 3 where - slightly - OOF. The rest was spot on. It was amazing to see the camera locking on subjects almost instantly. Never managed to achieve this with my 5D4. A camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera.
