Interesting, could be real useful. I will explore some more when I have some time. Older cameras gave EXIFs with distance info but was so inaccurate that it was useless.

I checked the other day, in the R5 you can change the unit from Feet to Meters, whatever you need/want. I think the Flickr information is Meters though as the minimum focus distance of the RF 100mm lens is about 10.5", and 0.34 meters is just about 12 inches, which is probably about how far away I was at the time. I'm sure there's a good +/- in there as it's just an estimate, but it may be good enough for some useful information

Looks like I interrupted lunch time in the garden a bit today. The only time I've ever been able to get a remotely decent stack of a jumping spider is when they're eating something

I have no idea what the first one was eating, it had it already when i found it. I watched the second one grab the small cricket

Thank you! The ant was certainly the easier one of the two to get a shot of, that wasp wanted nothing to do with me

I caught this storm yesterday using the 8K timelapse mode in the camera and the 100-500 lens. There is some sensor dirt spots visible here and there, sorry about that.
