Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words (thanks to the great camera ;-)a). I am really liking the R5. The 400mm is my favorite lens out of what I have used. I do feel the R5 and the 400mm combo works very well together.

Music to my ears.

Got the 400 now just waiting on "The 5".

Love your work Rob. Superb images

Little Beach?

Yes , "the spot" for catching pelicans. :) Unfortunately they did not fly up. But as this is a regular stop on our afternoon walk I'll get them in flight some other time soon.
Where did you order your R5? I got mine from Georges in Sydney - ordered 15 July and received it on the 31st July.

Ok I'm sold - this Delkin CFexpress reader was well worth it. I just transferred 150 images from the R5 in about the same amount of time it took 35 images from the M6m2 (32 MP on a fast SD card). This thing is great.

Question for the masses:

Can you not use the shutter button to start video recording on the R5?

I don’t see an option for that under the customization menu, which kinda shocked me.

That’s what I’m saying. Whether in still or video mode, there’s no option.
