Can you try a few shots with the 200-400 lens plus external 1,4x extender and with the 1,6 crop mode enabled resulting in (400 * 1,4 * 1,4 * 1,6) 1254 mm ?

6400-12800,25000 ISO shots would be much appreciated

Just to let you guys know, i am officially envious! but i'd love to read about your experiences with the R5 and see your wonderful photos. Hopefully i'll be joining the 'R5 Crew' shortly. Until then, please keep posting.

My R5 should be here Monday! Anyone else notice that there aren't many RF lenses in the gear database? I mean I get the newest ones not being in there, but the RF 85mm 1.2 and the DS version aren't in there either.

I actually already tried that. The AF in 20fps seems no different to me. The 12 fps vs 16/20 fps you do notice but honestly not as much as one may think. I have the feeling the 1dx grabs focus a little better, but not by much. This is all forgotten once you use the animal focus, it is outstanding. I think they really put a nice package together here. I really hope they put the animal tracking in the 1dx. I do like the buffer, battery and more robust feel of the 1dx but I did add the grip to the R5 and I feel more at home now

Did you use electronic or electronic first curtain?
Any distortion with BIF? Any slow down with mechanical shutter with the 600 + TC as that is not on the official list for 12fps.
