I also have the RF version - I bought the R5, but the adapter wasn't available, so I bought this RF lens so I wouldn't have to look at the new R5 body for two months, but could shoot with it.

Ah, I see. It's good to get a lens that's different and doesn't cost a fortune. I can't believe how light it is.

The nifty fifty does a decent job on close-ups, too. I'm really pleased with this cheap, little RF lens.
