Magnus3D Goldmember More info | Jun 22, 2022 17:06 | #7624 A far from perfect video of a rescue helicopter shot at a airshow. Filmed with R5 using RF 24-105/4. Audio recorded using a Tascam Portacapture X8 at 192kHz 32bit Float, synched with the video in Davinci Resolve. I know it's shakey and the horizon line is not perfect but winds were strong and the rotorwash didn't make it any easier to keep things stable. | Lots of cheap camera gear |

I've had Tascam Portacapture X8 to go with my R5 since it was first available, but I haven't had a good opportunity to test it extensively, so it's good to see this video. I bet the 32bit float came very handy for the shot. Did you use a windscreen for this and if so, which one? I'm still looking for one.

Terrycanon Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 24, 2022 06:13 | #7635 The RF 50mm f1.8, the cheap nifty fifty, continues to astound me. Didn't think I would manage a "macro" insect shot with it, but I did, and it's so light and easy to carry on a long walk. It's all about the light...
