The 85mm STM saved me on this unexpected foggy night. Crazy conditions at the airport last week! Kinda wish I had the R6 low light performance though...

It would be interesting to have the story behind these shots.

As for low light performance, you should be lucky you have the R5. Both R5 and R6 receive the same amount of light on the sensor. The R5 divvies it up more. Some say the R5 has better low light performance (with the same framing). The R6 will win at the pixel level, so don't compare at the pixel level. ;-)a

I've seen a lot of plane shots but these are cool. Extreme weather always makes for unique captures.

very cold morning at Del Mar... but I'm getting 720mm at f4 using the 1.4tc and the 1.6 crop mode. Comes in very handy from the shore
